Our time at Annsleigh is sadly coming to an end, we have had the privilege of meeting many wonderful people
and being chosen to be a part of many marriages and celebrations - which we have loved.
It is now time for beautiful Annsleigh to be carried into a bigger, brighter future showcasing the stunning gardens and become an accommodation hub out of Burnie when the B&B cottages are built.
Those of you who know me will understand the heartache of leaving my heart garden but Annsleigh deserves so much more than we can give. We have made many friends along the way and enjoyed the support of many. Thank you everyone for your love and support, Karin and Ian Tonks

WE MAKE IT EASY WITH A SINGLE VENUE HIRE FEE!
From a forest glade to a cherry tree garden, we have five glorious acres of sensational garden locations.
Every single item of décor is yours AT NO EXTRA CHARGE whatsoever! This includes plateware, flatware, chargers, glassware, coolers, commercial kitchens are free for your caterers to use, candelabra (big big big outdoor ones), fairy lit chandeliers, tables, chairs, barrels and so much more. Annsleigh Gardens Private High Tea events
Join us for a vast array (think no lunch beforehand) of delectable sweet and savoury items with free all day tea & coffee as well as a complimentary glass of sparkling wine on being seated.
We start with our house made RASPBERRY SHOTS, a delicious concoction eaten with a spoon and made from local organic raspberries - divine! You will then be served a huge variety of Annsleigh house made pastries, organic rose petal sandwiches with rose petal jelly, and so much more on our vintage High Tea stands and vintage crockery.
ENTRY FROM 11AM - HIGH TEA SERVED PROMPTLY AT 1.30
You will be served your complimentary glass of sparkling wine upon being seated and wander our stunning 5 acres either before or after enjoying your High Tea.
Ticket entry is inclusive of all day garden entry, glorious High Tea, all day tea & coffee as well as a glass of bubbles.
Wines and beer at bar prices, served from 11am.
Minimum guest number of 35 apply for private events.

WHO WE ARE
Thank you for considering Annsleigh when planning your wedding. We are located in the stunning mid North West of Tasmania close to Ridgley, a peaceful 5 acres of stunning English gardens filled with private spaces for ceremonies & celebrations.
At Annsleigh, we include all we can in the venue hire package – that way there are no surprises. Venue hire includes (outdoor items) up to 60 white Americana outdoor chairs, folding outdoor tables, hanging lanterns, fairy lit glass spheres, every item of outdoor décor (you choose) we have.
We will supply a registry table & chairs, heaps of vintage outdoor tables and chairs for your guests to relax in whilst your photographs are being taken, double wedding swing, fairy light chandeliers, shepherds’ hooks with hanging vases, easels, and much more. We include vintage ice troughs FILLED WITH ICE. We also include all indoor items, use of kitchens & fridges, our glassware, serving ware, table décor, all seating, tables etc.
With so many gorgeous spaces for ceremonies, we know you will be spoilt for choice.
We have many catering partners available and lots of ideas for outdoors. You may wish to be seated in a marquee or out on the lawns. High Tea receptions under the spreading trees are truly spectacular!
We have included complimentary travel between garden locations in our stunning “Little Annie”, an electric golf buggy. Our driver is at your disposal – this is particularly helpful for brides in heels and folk with mobility issues.
Our beautiful artisan made tables are locally sourced and have emerged from a single tree.
Wine & Beverage
We know everyone wants flexibility so we offer that in spades! If you prefer BYO beverage, that’s fine, we will organise cooling and drink station set up or indoor service should you wish. Talk to us about your preferred options.

How to find us.
Located in the mid North of Tasmania close to beaches, ancient forests and Cradle Mountain; with so many activities close by we are sure your guests will take the opportunity to take some of the amazing walks, visit some of Burnie’s wine and whiskey sites and wander through historic Stanley. If you are arriving from Devonport, turn left from the Bass Highway at Burnie onto the Cradle Mountain Highway, you will reach Annsleigh in less than 10 minutes. Drive to the corner of Cradle Mountain Highway and Metaira Road and turn left – you have arrived.

An Exquisite Experience!
30 MINUTE FULLY GUIDED GOLF BUGGY TOURS NOW AVAILABLE, just $10 per person. "Little Annie", an electric 4 seat buggy is the ideal way to get around the entire five acres of stunning gardens.
Annsleigh is a renowned venerable English style garden of some 60 years of age. Filled with many important trees and historical points, you will never fail to be in awe of the wonderful floral displays and items of interest throughout the gardens. With five acres to wander through, be sure to make plenty of time to share the joy!
Gardens and garden tours are open by appointment, so please call us to plan your visit.
We are a dog friendly garden so why not share this beautiful space with your doggy friend (on leads please).
